Momentum Investing: Why buy anything other than a winner?

Momentum investing simply means buying winners; in your case buying funds which are doing best now on the assumption that they will continue doing well. And the research (and there is an awful lot of academic, independent, research on this point) highlights how investments doing well today also have a tendency to do well tomorrow.
