What’s Hot

• A great month for gold miners pulled the commodity sector up sharply.

• The small health and financials sectors were driven by hopes for product breakthroughs and fat profits respectively.

• Tech had a decent if unexciting month.

• Asia ex Japan is the only mainstream sector feature helped by both AI/tech and Value opportunities.

What’s Not

• Two interest-rate sensitive sectors are bottom of the pile, Commodities and Healthcare…

• …but nothing terrible.

• Similarly USD Corporate Bond.

• Latin America drifted, not even helped by commodities.

• China also drifted, and as we write we await news from the latest National People’s Congress Standing Committee meeting on 28th August.
