What’s Hot

·         Commodities, especially metals, had an excellent 2026, and the bets stayed in place in the final month of the year.

·         Outside the US there is considerable good value, and stimulus, and investors are re-allocating to these areas…

·         … hence two UK sectors showing, plus European small caps and Europe generally.

What’s Not

·         China had a breather after an excellent year, that’s healthy.

·         Ditto with the rest of Asia.

·         India had a relatively poor year.

·         US smallers aren’t yet sure what to make of Trump in 2026.

·         And Property isn’t sure whether to respond to economic gloom or the prospect for rate cuts.
