What's HotWhat’s Hot

  • Tech takes top spot, just, driven by continuing enthusiasm for Nvidia.
  • UK smaller companies are just behind, driven by less risky growing takeover activity, very cheap valuations, and an apparently benign Chancellor in waiting.
  • Similar but lesser attractions also carried European smallers higher.
  • Commodity funds held steady, despite a mixed bag of individual commodity prices.
  • And UK Growth funds followed the smaller brethren for much the same reasons.

What’s Not

  • Japan and India were down a touch, in both cases due a breather.
  • Two global bond sectors make an appearance, with doubts over the path for US rates, though they were still positive.
  • The broadly based Asian sector was also dull, not helped by China being off a little.
