On 22nd May 2013 the FTSE 100 hit a five-year high before falling over 10%, catching many investors unprepared. They made the classic mistakes of allowing their emotions to cloud their judgment and following the herd (and the optimistic headlines at the time). Following a summer rebound the optimistic headlines are once again gaining momentum. So where is the FTSE 100 headed now and should you be buying?
